Equestrian
Charlie
Charlie is a little cheeky and enjoys lots of treats. Charlie is 15.2hh and is mainly used as an all-rounder and a flying armchair out on cross country.
Domino
Domino, one of our client’s favourites is 15hh, an all-rounder and enjoys the thrill of cross country.
Henry
Henry is 15hh and broken for driving the carriage. A very handsome horse with great character. Also, great fun to ride around the estate and in lessons.
Bumble
Bumble is the “star” at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre and is 16hh. Bumble enjoys hacking and jumping. The perfect school master.
Betty
Betty is a firm favourite with younger children and is 14.2hh. She was broken in by the staff at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre and now enjoys doing hacking and lessons.
Jessica
Jessica, another of our school masters at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre has nothing to learn. Jessica a 15.2hh piebald mare and enjoys flatwork and hacking.
Arnie
Arnie the 16.2hh flying armchair. who worked in previous stables loves to go cross country. Arnie is an all-round school master, and he enjoys cantering through the lake at Castle Leslie Estate. Sammy Leslie enjoys riding Arnie from time to time.
Squirt
Squirt, as the name suggests, is one of our smaller ponies at 13.2hh. Squirt is used for the more advanced children and enjoys jumping. Squirt loves competing and is certainly a popular pony with our competitive riders. The favourite lead horse out cross country.
Jigsaw
Jigsaw is a 14.2hh skewbald mare who has earned her name on the door and has worked at Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre for several years. She is a firm favourite with our guests and enjoys taking them for hacks on the estate.
Blueberry
Blueberry, the lady of the yard is an all-rounder, Irish Draught horse and is 16.2hh. She is one of the favourites out on cross country.
Russell
Russell is 18h and a school horse who can do it all. He is a very handsome fellow and a big gentle giant. In fact, he is one of the biggest horses in our Equestrian Centre. He makes the cross country a breeze.
Cosmo
Cosmo is a mini Valegro, she is a 15hh all-rounder. She suits both teenagers and small adults. She is used as a lead horse and loves hacking and cross country.
Eric
Eric is 14h and a pony who can do it all. He is a little superstar with a big heart and very popular with all the children.
Poppy
Poppy came to Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre in 2022. She is a grey mare, 15hh and a very pretty one who really enjoys hacking, jumping and indoor lessons. Poppy is used for intermediate to advanced riders.
Robin
Robin is a very handsome boy who joined Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre in 2021. He is a grey Connemara gelding 14.2h and a firm favourite with our guests. He is the ideal all-rounder.
TJ
TJ is a bay gelding, 14h and an older horse who is used for hacks and lessons. He is very willing and enthusiastic about his job and is a lovely addition to the team.
Willow
Willow joined Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre in 2022. She is a black mare, 16.2h and is the sweetest mare who tries her best for everyone. She is used as an all rounder and a favourite with one instructor in particular!
Cody
Cody, the big gentle giant is 17hh and is one of the youngest members in the stables having joined us in 2023. He is a great all-rounder with a laid-back attitude.
Ronaldo
Ronaldo, aka Ronnie is a 14.2hh black cob and all-rounder, added to the team in 2023 and already a favourite with children. They love his moustache!
Tana
Tana is a 16hh grey mare. She is a sweetheart on the yard and enjoys taking guests for hacks around the estate.
Steel
Steel is a 16.2hh dapple grey gelding and is a new edition to the Equestrian Centre. Steel is quickly becoming a guest favourite out on our cross-country.
Romeo
Romeo is a 16.2hh chestnut gelding who is a new addition to the Equestrian Centre. This gentleman is a hunters dream out on cross country.
Flicka
Flicka is an Appaloosa mare who is with us on working livery. She joined the Equestrian Centre in August 2023 and has become a real favourite with our regulars.
Chocolate
Chocolate is a 14.2hh dark bay gelding who joined the Equestrian Centre in 2023. He is a real character and loves taking our guests on cross country!
Rebel
Rebel is a 16.1hh chestnut gelding who joined the yard in 2023. His playful demeanor and willing attitude have quickly earned him a spot as a guest favourite. He is the perfect all rounder and loves taking guests out around the cross-country course!
Lady
Lady is a 16.2hh Irish Draught grey mare who joined the yard in 2023. With her beauty and laid-back attitude, it’s easy to see why our guests love her.
Mercy
Mercy is a 15.2hh chestnut mare who joined the yard in 2024. She loves taking guests for lessons and adventures around the estate. Her kind nature has made her a favourite amongst both guests and staff. She is the perfect school master.
Everest
Everest, as his name suggests, is an 18hh grey gelding who joined the yard in 2024. He used to be a hunt master’s horse, and is very brave and willing on the cross-country course. He is also used for lessons in our indoor arena.
Freddy
Freddy is a 15.2hh chestnut gelding, who joined the yard in 2024. Freddy loves taking guests out around the estate and he really enjoys the thrill of the cross-country course. He is the favourite of one staff member in particular.
Striker
Striker is a 14hh bay New Forest Pony who is with us on a working livery. He loves going out around the estate and is one of the main lead horses for our staff. He is used for our intermediate to advanced riders.
