Our staff sleep out to support homelessness
Some of our staff slept out on Monday 15th of October to raise awareness on the issue of homelessness in Ireland. They joined other Irish Companies to raise much needed funds to support the vital work of Focus Ireland and their 'Shine a Light' campaign with an aim to end homelessness in Ireland. Family homelessness has reached historic proportions with 2,777 children currently living in emergency accommodation in Ireland, often unable to get to school, rarely getting a home cooked meal and sinking into darkness. Local primary school designs the artwork for Castle Leslie Estate’s environmentally friendly compostable cups.
At Castle Leslie Estate we are always seeking environment friendly options to help the planet. That’s why we have decided to introduce compostable cups on the estate. In doing so, we are helping our guests to also help the environment. We are also big supporters of our local community so we asked our local primary school to design the artwork for our compostable cups. Here is the finished product, which we think are wonderful and are currently in use on the estate.
