Castle Leslie Estate donate to the SVP Christmas ‘Giving Tree’ Appeal

This year staff members of Castle Leslie Estate participated in the annual Society of the St. Vincent de Paul Annual Christmas ‘Giving Tree’ Appeal.  They donated over 100 unwrapped presents for all age groups to this very worthy cause.  All  presents will be going to families in much need in the local North Monaghan area. Castle Leslie Estate Staff Raise Funds for Focus Ireland

On Monday 15th October, some of the staff at Castle Leslie Estate took part in Focus Ireland’s ‘Shine a Light Night’.  Shine a Light Night is a truly touching event where people come together for one night every year to raise vital funds and to stand in solidarity with people experiencing homelessness in Ireland today.  Family homelessness has reached historic proportions with 2,777 children currently living in emergency accommodation in Ireland, often unable to get to school, rarely getting a home cooked meal and sinking into darkness. It builds up to this movement by helping develop balance. It utilises using quick-fire changes of bend and counter canter.
